"My thoughts go to you everyday but this weekend Shana and Sean and Shelby came for a weekend stay, Shelby (your great grand daughter 2.4 years of age) reminded me of Shana and her time with you. Shelby is a Shana clone. When she ran and skipped to jump into my arms, I felt like you when Shelby said I love you grandma. Shana loved and loves you so much, she had a special bond with you, why because you did the little things...sitting on the kitchen floor, both of you in your pajamas', eating peanut butter toast, smelling the flowers, birthday parties you gave to her in your backyard, going through your costume jewelry and just enjoying her every moment. Because of you I am a hands on grandma, I want to do as you and be a part of their life's. I am so glad I have a car (which you did not) because I get to see my grandchildren whenever I want, which is weekly. I want them to feel the love Bob and I have for them so they can come to us when they need a place to say and do what comes to their minds. So we can have an influence in their life's. Being a part of our children and grandchildren's life is our #1 priority, it is what life is all about and I love how you showed me love.
